About Me
I’ve spent more than 40 years working with children as an outdoor educator, and for 25 of those years, as a classroom teacher. Along the way, one truth has become clear: children thrive not because they are busy or constantly praised, but because they are raised with consistent expectations, strong values, and steady support at home.
I believe in the power of simple, intentional parenting, daily responsibilities that build confidence, clear family values that create safety, and rhythms that allow children time to be bored, creative, and at rest. I’ve seen again and again that gratitude, shared meals, modeled manners, and age appropriate responsibility quietly shape resilient, capable children.
My work is grounded in both experience and observation, supporting families in creating homes where children feel secure, connected, and trusted to grow. Not more pressure. Not more activities. Just consistency, presence, and intention—day after day.
Consistency is quiet.
